Özyeğin University delivers a range of outreach, education, and capacity-building initiatives aimed at policymakers and lawmakers. Through its Technology Transfer Office (TTO), the University provides consultancy and training support during the establishment of other Technology Transfer Offices across Türkiye, helping expand innovation capacity and knowledge transfer networks.

The Lifelong Learning Center (ÖzÜ-LLC), in partnership with the HMO Foundation, offers professional development and capacity-building programmes on rural development for municipalities in Türkiye’s south-eastern regions. These programmes strengthen local administrative capacity and promote inclusive development practices.

Additionally, the Center for Energy, Environment and Economy (CEEE) has collaborated with Çekmeköy Municipality to organize workshops focused on planning and implementing energy-efficient housing projects. As part of this effort, CEEE developed a user-friendly catalogue on the maintenance and operation of sustainable buildings for end-users in the municipality.

The Faculty of Law offers a suite of certificate programmes tailored for public law officials, including the Mediation Education in Legal Disputes Certificate Programme and the Mediation Education in Criminal Procedure Disputes Certificate Programme, which enhance legal mediation skills and contribute to more effective and equitable justice systems.
