Cross-Sectoral SDG Dialogue

Özyeğin University initiates and actively participates in cross-sectoral dialogue about the SDGs through multiple collaborative platforms and partnerships. Since 2015, the university has maintained institutional representation through collaboration with the Turkish Industry and Business Association (TÜSİAD) and has established partnerships with diverse organizations including the International Sustainable Campus Network (ISCN), the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO), WWF, Women in Renewable Energy, and Xi'an Jiaotong University. As a member of the Principles for Responsible Management Education (PRME) initiative and the European University Association (EUA), the university strengthens its commitment to responsible education and sustainable development.

The "2C1N: Sustainable Youth Reports Project," conducted in collaboration with ÖzÜ Sustainability Platform, Zorlu Holding, and Simurg Association, creates a unique intergenerational dialogue where high school students analyze the 17 SDGs and university students compile their insights into annual reports, with the goal of publishing a Sustainable Youth Manifesto by 2030. Furthermore, the Memorandum of Understanding with Women in Renewable Energy (WiRE) facilitates collaborative research, joint events, and workshops that promote equal opportunities and advance the role of underrepresented groups in the renewable energy sector.
