Searching for Gender Inequalities with Data - Panel
Gender is something we all experience on a daily basis in different ways. Because of our diversity, intersectionally, we all experience it in different ways. For some of us, various privileges are accessible, while for others, gender-based discrimination is something we face much more frequently.
But where do these unique experiences intersect? How can we analyze similar experiences? How can we identify gender-based inequalities that emerge from similar experiences? And most importantly, how can we take steps to solve the inequalities shared by a group of people?
The panel "Searching for Gender Inequalities with Data" stands at the intersection of these questions and problems. On February 22nd, we will reflect on gender-related data in different fields. We will discuss what the data tells us and how we can use this data for a more equal future.
Organized as part of the 2nd ÖzU Gender Ideathon, the second panel of our panel series "Searching for Gender Inequalities with Data" is open to everyone, especially Özyeğin University members. Let's talk about transforming inequalities with data!
Our panel, which will take place in the ÖzÜ-X B27 area, will also be broadcast on Zoom.
**The event will be held in Turkish.**
