At Özyeğin University, we actively participated in the global clean-up initiative, “Let’s Do It,” in celebration of World Cleanup Day on September 16.
“Let’s Do It” unites individuals and organizations at over 350 clean-up sites across Turkey on September 16 with the shared goal of making our world cleaner and brighter. The initiative not only makes a tangible impact on the clean environment but also opens doors to a series of events designed to promote environmental awareness and sustainability within our society.
As a token of our appreciation to our stakeholders who actively partake in the cleanup initiative, we offered access to the “waste” workshops to be orchestrated as part of the “ATTUNE (Activate the University for Climate Change)” project, in which our University stands as one of the global partners representing Turkey. An employee and a student with the most successful projects will have the honor of representing ÖzU at the award ceremony in Germany.
