Interdisciplinary Child Rights Studies Research Laboratory

The Interdisciplinary Child Rights Studies Research Laboratory aims to carry out interdisciplinary studies with an international rights-based perspective -interactive between theory and practice - in the field of child rights-based culture and child rights-based vocational education and training at universities and the protection of children’s rights in the field of academic capacity building. The laboratory started its activities in 2019 with a foundational meeting of the Child Rights Network in Academia and workshops on the topic ‘Towards to Child-Friendly Justice System,’ which were both organized by Ozyegin University Law Faculty with the support of Research Worldwide Istanbul and The 2020 Child Rights Studies Postgraduate Thesis Awards were given in partnership with Interdisciplinary Child Rights Laboratory and Raoul Wallenberg Institute, Lund University
