ÖzÜ COVID-19 Forecasting and Solution Development Team is established in response to the COVID-19 pandemic to coordinate all efforts, communication, and dissemination under the roof of the OzU Sustainability Platform on an “academic freedom” and “volunteering” basis. The team reports to the Rector’s Office.

Founded in line with our University’s mission of “always being at the service of society”, the team functions as a work group to conduct strategy-focused, fast, and guided research on problems pertaining to our society or university and share its findings with society and
decision makers.

Academic Method:

Conduct multi, inter- and multidisciplinary studies pertaining to COVID-19,
Perform research and share findings for recommendation,
Initially publish “white papers” as a first step to respond to urgent needs,
Disseminate these studies through standard refereed processes in the long run.
