7th Annual Çiğdem Kağıtçıbaşı Research Festival In memory of the renowned Çiğdem Kağıtçıbaşı, the 7th Çiğdem Kağıtçıbaşı Research Festival was held in person on June 10, 2024. The festival opened with an inspiring keynote address by esteemed Feyza Çorapçı, who shared insights from her latest book dedicated to Kağıtçıbaşı, highlighting advances in developmental psychology research and applications. The event featured original research presentations by graduate students, followed by a poster session showcasing undergraduate research projects. This year, two distinct projects shared the top poster award for student research. The festival supports SDG 3 (Good Health and Well-being) by promoting research that addresses psychological health and development, underscoring the role of psychological sciences in enhancing individual and community well-being. Additionally, it aligns with SDG 4 (Quality Education) by fostering an educational environment that encourages research, critical thinking, and academic engagement. Through this festival, Özyeğin University creates an enriching platform for students to explore developmental psychology, contribute to meaningful research, and honor the legacy of Kağıtçıbaşı in advancing health and educational outcomes.
